Megan Winnard here reporting on set filming the new Peter Kay comedy on Thursday 22nd May. My agent Tracey Bell rang me to see how I was getting on. Well both myself and my chaperone were surprised by the treatment we received. It was great I had my very own trailer and it even had my name on it!
The costume and make-up girls treated me like a princess and when I was ready I was taken, with my chaperone into a people carrier and driven to the venue where we were filming.
I spent most of the time in a wheelchair with casts on, about 5 and a half hours in all, but everyone made me feel as comfortable as they could and I really loved every minute of it!!!
Peter Kay was brilliant with me, as when they cut off my casts he signed it and gave them to me for keeps. I was then driven back to my trailer where Peter Kay and I had a couple of photos taken. I had a fantastic time and itīs been an experience that I will never forget.
